We have been so busy since our last post, mostly with traveling and family visiting, which has been a lot of fun. At the end of August we headed to Milwaukee for a wedding. Andy's first cousin, Chris, was getting married and so we decided to try to travel by plane for the first time with Aiden. I was so nervous that Aiden would be fussy on the plane and we would be 'those people,' but he was a perfect angel, as always. The wedding was a lot of fun and Aiden got to meet a lot of family members he hadn't had the chance to meet yet, and see lots of people that hadn't seen him for several months.

From Milwaukee we headed to San Antonio to see my family, especially my grandmother. Aiden and Nan loved each other and I'm so glad they got to meet! She was in the hospital for a few days due to a nasty fall where she hurt her knee, and then moved to an assisted living facility for a few weeks for rehabilitation.
Aiden had fun with my family and got to meet a lot of new people, including his cousin Rhett, who was born 6 weeks after Aiden.

He also got to meet many of my close friends and family at my belated baby shower, which I was originally supposed to fly home for the day Aiden surprised us with his arrival...good thing I didn't leave a couple of days earlier!

While home we got to see my brother, Tyler, perform as Drum Major at a football game. He did so well and our high school beat the other team very easily!
Aiden got to try peas for the first time while in San Antonio!
Aiden and I also got together with 2 friends that I have known since middle school. We had lost touch since going off to college, but they happened to be pregnant at the same time, so we talked about all of the new experiences that were occuring for all of us! After hearing about Aiden and the whole hospitalization, these two girls offered me so much support and allowed me to vent and socialize via Facebook since I was all alone at Loma Linda. Aiden enjoyed meeting Harper and Alexa, and hopefully we will all get together again in December.
